Cream of the crop

Kent County Council needed to reflect the core proposition of Produced in Kent, to ‘support and promote all that is made, manufactured and grown in Kent’. A woodcut approach to the identity was chosen to convey the essence of ‘home grown’ and ‘crafted’ qualities of their produce.

Comprehensive identity design and application, including website, literature, signage, member’s packs and merchandise. The website required a complete redesign in order to encourage wider collaboration amongst members and promote them to the customer. A complete CMS allowed the producers to apply for membership and upload their own promotional content within the directory database.

“I can honestly say that without doubt that the progress that Produced in Kent has made over the last 18 months has been in no small part as a result of the input of GM Toucari. All this achieved within the difficult environment of public sector procurement, local government politics and serving a traditionally sceptical audience within the rural economy.”
